- DLDrew LewisFeb 10, 20261.0For several months I have had a decent experience with Vetco. Though wait times were often a bit extreme for having scheduled appointments, I liked how transparent and easy they made everything. But problems arose when vet visits became less frequent. To receive Heartgard Plus (a preventative drug) I have to take my dog in once every month-- this is a problem when the only day Vetco makes available is Saturday afternoon. If the monthly visit isn't made, apparently Vetco will decline to fill the prescription. Given that this is preventative medicine, given to my dog once monthly, per the instructions of Vetco, I am confused. Particularly so because I was given the opportunity to buy a 6-month supply of Heatgard Plus at my last visit. Because of conflicting statements by Vetco, I am left doubting it's credibility and will be finding another vet.
