    I have taken my dogs to Petco for grooming several times. After talking to some other people, I think that they charge way more than any local groomer. I also think that they might not take the time with the pet to do a thorough job. My yorkie-poo got a clipper level 5 all over and there are a couple visible spots that are a bit long and might have been able to be touched up after. His tail seems to have been cute very crooked like the time was just not taken to do it well. When I dropped him off, the person said, “His nails are really sharp. Do you want to add the buffing to shorten them?” I did it, but only because she guilted me into it. If I had really wanted to, I would have done it when I was given the option when I did the booking. Then, when you pick up your pet, they have you pay and ask if you want to tip before you even see your pet. The tip should be based on the work and in this instance it isn’t because you have not seen the work. Total paid with $10 tip—$92! This is not the first time that I have had this pet here and the last time they also didn’t do the best job. I have also brought my lab-Pyrenees in for a de-shed treatment before that I felt was an overpriced bath and blow out until the groomer got tired of brushing. I really only tried this again because I had one more to go to get a free grooming. I would really not recommend this for grooming, mostly due to the cost!

    Everything is good at the store. The groomer is absolutely the best. The app sucks and no one in customer service takes care of it. I am sitting at one grooming appointment out of six for years and have a grooming appointment every eight weeks. I’ve called and nobody fixes this and I’ve called at least twice. The rewards sucks.

    Rebecca and the grooming manager (sorry I forgot her name starts w/ an R though) are the sweetest most amazing groomers.. my coco had such specific grooming needs yesterday and the manager groomed her and did 100% amazing work.. tysm
