  Got a pet tag that you could engrave that was also able to be tracked with Find my iPhone for Christmas & I had a receipt with it. I go in to engrave it and i didn’t even get to put the tag in before it said Out of Order. I go up to the registers and see 2 girls talking that look like managers, I go up and the girl with short brown curly hair rudely said “up there” and pointed to the register before I could even say anything, I go up and tell the cashier my issue & she looks over to said girl and she gets insanely irritated and annoyed and exclaims “Everyone is talking to her at once 🙄🙄🙄” and asks someone else what to do and she goes to fix the issue but with the worst attitude i’ve ever seen. I get to talking to the cashier and this is only her 3rd day. I ask could I get a refund because i did not appreciate the nasty attitude from her fellow coworker. While doing my transaction the girl comes back over and starts looking at the separate tag for tracking (employee was holding actual tag) and gets rude with me saying “You can’t even engrave this!!” “That’s why it went out of order.” Over and over and when she shut up I said i didn’t even stick it in yet & that’s not the tag. She said oh. Then the cashier finally said i would like a refund and she was like “Well that’s literally what i was over there doing🙄🙄” while rolling her eyes “Would you still like a refund?” I said “yeah…” Well duh Absolutely with that horrible attitude!!! Thank God I was at the end of my refund by the time she came back because she immediately started helicoptering this poor employee. I told this employee she needs to go somewhere else because Petco cannot be this stressful to have that nasty attitude. Actually ridiculous. 0 stars

  verbal abuse gang up job on why my guinea pig died literally the night befote christmas eve they made remarks aboht my bedding and refused business and also refused to listen to me and manager lied about being a disabled vet threatened to call cops and threatened he had a degree beo i have hands on experience i rather take info from someone who has had experience and hands on over a person who reads fromma book last folks that i let take care kf my dog with that attitude overdosed her and wheni raise other animals as well because i am 10+ gen on agriculture and vets who have a herd of goats as well say mine is the healthiest theyve seen in their lives and 4H aluminis line up to do business with me yeah dont tell me what you think because ill tell you what i know and i do also come from a whole family of veterans law enforcement senators and judges.... lets keep the verbal abuse and bullying to a mninimum kinda sad we are grown adults bullying others around and all that manager could do was escalate the issue and then acted like he was the victim 3 against 2 not a fair fight but luckily petsmart solved my problem and gave me 2 guinea pigs for the price of one and i pray the animals at petco stop showing up and the place is ran out of vusiness i have a gecko from them alive and good but yet i see the babies in their store and theyre struggling to even shed due to bad husbandry conditions and 8 to a 5 gal yeah thats gross and they wanna talk about my husbandries nope i spent a year and a half fixing their screw ups with calypso and they claimed my guinea pig was never a runt ok why was her food bigger than her mouth ok so if she isnt a runt then she was a premie and ripped from mama before she aas ready the 2 guinea pigs i got today individually have more weight on them than she did and they have size unlike her her hair is enough to throw off anyone and why would you admit on the phone you put jew babies with old common sense if you had any wpild tell you that is not a safe practice because older babies will pick on newer babies and ive seen that happen and ive rescued a guinea pig before because the malpracrice so if thats result of college degree yeah i think its better to say hands on experience is the better way to go on this one. I have chickens too and one wotha deformity beautiful and healthy and i have them in all shapes and sizes my batams live separate from the rest because they are smaller in size which means theyd be pecked and bullied because of that reasoning so lets use pur brains we all wanna claim we have them and dont know the first way of how to use them so like my grandmother always said "thosr who brag abpht wjat they have usually do not have much to brag about" btw she went to college and was a school teacher....

  this place is cool and stuff but the whole protocol about having 2 weeks of tank cycling before u can get a fish seems kinda overboard. overall, i’m very greatful hey sold me my amazing sashimi (female coy beta) and donatello (goldfish). both are doing amazing, i just got sashimi on the 15 december and donatello last year summer. a lot of these places have super sick or dying fish and animals, but when i go i see most of the time they are doing good.

  Giving 2 stars because at least the cashier was nice. This is definitely the place to shop if you want to be completely ignored by staff unless they are fallowing you around making sure you're not stealing.

  Some lady would not let us buy fish because she said that she did not know about tank conditions. No idea what her name is. Then when we set everything down to leave she tried to sell us a dead beta fish instead of the ones we wanted. The only way to describe this lady is middle aged with lazy eyes... not trying to be mean.. its the only thing we remember about her besides her rudeness. She also informed us that pet smart would not sell us fish and pet smart in fact sold us fish. The fish we wanted. Not a dead beta. So I'd go to pet smart, better service and right across the road from here anyways! Shout out to pet smart!!
