  Daycare and boarding seem to go well! I just wish you all did some sort of picture updates each day and end of week report card at the least. When I pick my dogs up no one knows if it went well and I don’t know if my dogs are even having fun there.

  In September, we brought home our first puppy in 10 years, a Labrador. As we transitioned into the biting/niping stage, he was becoming rough with my kids and riping holes in their clothes. It soon became apparent that I was a bit out of my depth in managing this little ball of energy. A friend recommended Sidekick and we haven’t looked back. We’ve met with Misti for several private sessions and also enrolled in the Positively Puppies class. Captain, my dog, has boarded with them and also done additional training as well as socialization and playtime. I am so pleased to say that Captain is maturing into much more well mannered young dog with a lot more self control than what he started with! Not only did SKDT help us train him, they also coached us on the best way to approach his issues. I have gotten great advice from several different staff members that helped me keep small problems from turning into big ones. It’s like having a whole team a your disposal to troubleshoot your dog and find what makes them tick so you can set them up for success. I also love the emphasis on positive reinforcement, it helps manage behaviors constructively and build trust between you and your pupper. Captain, himself, LOVES SKDT and gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot. I highly recommend SKDT, start here early and you should be very pleased with your results.

  Took my over friendly non compliant year old puppy for basic training. It has made a world of difference. I now walk him instead of him walking me. They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and loving to my pup. Thanks so much ladies!
