Beyond amazing experience at the Ofallon Mo Banfield!! Receptionist was very friendly then Dr. Ashley Pickett took care of Charlie my basset hound. She took her time and really genuinely cares about your pet. Beyond impressed! Charlie was impressed too! He’s worn out lol.

I wasted $1056 on puppy plan I signed up for. We lost our puppy and still on the hook for this yearly plan. Basically I spent $1056 to get my dog chipped and neutered. Now not only have I cancelled my future vet visits with my other 2 dogs, I will no longer shop at Pets Mart.

Honestly I knew not to come back to Banfield after issues with the vet in Wentzville years ago. Today I brought my dog in who has been losing weight and having hair regrowth issues and I am beyond frustrated and mad that I even step foot in here and let this vet look at my dog. She ran blood work and tested her thyroid and when the blood work pretty much came back normal she just started spouting of whatever she could think of and contradicting herself over and over again. I spent $500 on a visit and left even more confused and worried than before. She told me I needed to do a deworming panel but didn’t even test for worms she told me to get more accurate results on the bloodwork she said they would get in clinic I would have to spend $200 to send those off and then told me to just keep doing what I’m doing and I’ll get the thyroid results in a week or so. She kept saying random diseases and illnesses she could have but gave me nothing to go on other than a million other tests to run but then would contradict herself by saying but we usually only see this in large breed dogs. After declining to send off the blood work and do the deworming panel the vet tech was clearly frustrated and honestly the whole time treated me like a bad pet owner because I didn’t bring vaccine records(that I lost in a fire) and because she hadn’t had blood work done yet this year. My dog is energetic, eats and drinks as normal, has had no vomitting or diarrhea and I have nowhere to turn now. I knew not to come back here but thinking it wouldn’t be the same vet as at the other location I was completely wrong because it was the same vet and she spouted off the same script she told my mom when she saw her dog. I am beyond disappointed in the lack of care we received and honestly feel like I was taken advantage of. As much as I wish I did I don’t have thousands to be thrown around and taken advantage of so this vet can meet her quota. Now I will most likely be spending the same amount at a different vet that I probably should have went to in the first place. If you want answers go somewhere else because sometimes the quickest option isn’t the best option all I can do now is try and get my dog the care she deserves and just keep regretting spending money to see a vet who can’t do anything to actually help.
