- KCKellee CummingsAug 9, 20241.0THEY LIE ABOUT PRICING ONLINE. YOU WILL PAY DOUBLE. I booked an appointment due to the pricing listed on the Petco website. They list a $112 package of basic shots, including rabies. I booked through the website to visit one of the clinics in Lee’s Summit, MO, and then had my two cats vaccinated at their scheduled times. At the end of the appointment, they charged me $194 PER PET, $189 of that being the rabies shot alone. When we asked the employee there, they said that the website basically didn’t accurately reflect their vaccination packages. This is false advertising. And I want the pricing I was promised on THEIR WEBSITE. I paid DOUBLE what was shown, and that’s a terrible bait and switch. Do NOT believe their website. It’s apparently a lie to get you to make an appointment. I also tried to call to speak with someone, but the after-hours line kept breaking up and was just a help desk line anyway. Poor communication at the clinic. Dishonest online pricing. Bad customer service line as well.
