    Very sad to see the way the ferrets are kept. I despise the few times I have to step foot in that awful place. Absolutely heartbreaking to see these little guys in the torcher chamber that Petco thinks is perfectly acceptable and even worse the cages that they sell to uninformed buyers . This is not a specific petco every single one is the same. It’s nothing shy of corporate greed. People who don't know ferrets would think it’s ok because they do not know that ferrets are more like Dogs and cats and not a gerbil because of the way Petco keeps them. Do better Petco! No toys , barely any food , locked in a glass contraption with little air circulation , with wood shavings that are so bad for their respiratory track. Water bottles that are made for hamsters . Pure neglect. Frequently ferrets are all alone which makes it even worse. Quit putting the stupid plastic hamster caves in there they don’t like them. How about giving them the hammocks that they love , some enrichment toys that you have on the shelves.

    If you want a tank that cracks after spending 300 dollars buy one here! Bought a tank 29 days ago. As I am doing maintenance tonight i see a crack. Immediately I call and am asking for a refund. She says I have till tonight to bring in this tank at this point, it is 5pm. I tell her how would I be able to bring a tank full of fish jokingly because there is no way that I can Empty out my 75 gallon tank find somewhere to put the fish so I could return it. Mind you I also do not have a truck on hand so I wouldn’t be able to bring it in. It is too big for my car. Also, I am the only one home so I cannot bring it myself anyway. She basically said, sucks to suck and I have till tonight to bring it in. I call corporate and corporate says since I bought it in store, they cannot refund me or return it or even look up my order because it was in store. Petco is a joke. Everyone in that store is high and doesn’t know how to take care of fish properly. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store And will never come back. save your money and go to petland where their fish are better taken care of and have better quality products

    My nephew and I were assisted by the store manager, Matthew, with the purchase of GloFish. While I initially appreciated his detailed information regarding the fish varieties, the interaction quickly became confrontational and unnecessarily challenging after I provided information about my aquarium setup. When asked about my tank, I explained that it had been set up for approximately one week and that I had recently lost a fish due to an error with water conditioning chemicals. At this point, Matthew's demeanor shifted, and he began to question and challenge my knowledge and experience as a fish owner. Despite my request to simply proceed with the sale, Matthew explicitly stated that he would not sell me the fish. His justification was that if the fish died by the next day, I would return for a refund. This statement was baseless and deeply offensive. I have never requested a refund from your company for deceased fish. When I requested to speak with a manager, he confirmed he was the manager. When I then requested corporate contact information, he stated it was only available on your website, claiming he did not carry the information. My nephew and I subsequently purchased the fish at another retailer without incident, and they are currently healthy. The refusal of sale by your store manager due to a perceived lack of expertise and an unfounded assumption regarding a refund policy is unacceptable. We will not be going back. Ever.
