- LKLogan KilfoyDec 5, 20251.0I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Cape Girardeau Happy Tails Dog Boarding. My dog was injured while I was away, and the staff handled the situation poorly from start to finish. They were unresponsive, and every person I spoke with gave me a different explanation of what happened. I requested camera footage of the incident several times and never received it. The injury occurred outside of regular vet hours, and the staff had no plan in place for emergencies. No one knew which emergency vets were available, and I had to scramble to figure it out myself while worried about my dog’s condition. This is unacceptable for a boarding facility that advertises itself as responsible and trustworthy. I cannot recommend this place. My dog’s safety was not taken seriously, and the lack of communication made an already upsetting situation much worse.

Very friendly staff and they have also made my dog so much more comfortable and happy and get use to men to show they are not all bad. Pricing is good, (for how the economy is right now). You can board for half a day/ full day/ boarding. I have tried them all and my dog always comes home happy. They do military discounts. A few bucks off which is nice! They also provide multiple other services for example nail trimming/hair/ bath/teeth brush etc.
