- JPJoanie PhelpsJan 16, 20261.0By far the most incompetent people at the Banfield I went to! I went for an allergic reaction my dog had and they told me he had heart worms. There was a temp doctor there that day. They said the regular dr would get ahold of me in 3 days to go over treatment options. I kept calling and calling; it took a month before anyone finally responded by email it was brief she gave me a price of 1200-1400 for treatment then gave me 900… I asked multiple times can you email me a detailed estimate no one could seem to send me that! Since I needed that to try to get a grant or subsidy to help with costs! Then randomly a 1 1/2 months later someone called me from the office trying to tell me he needs to come in for blood work and a Xray so I needed to get on a plan! I said what?? I can’t seem to get the layout of the treatment options with an estimate of the 2 protocol!! I again asked her… she said oh I’m sorry we don’t give estimates.. but I can tell you it’s going to be $3,000-$4,000 dollars maybe even 5,000!! I said wow every body there gives me different prices!! Shady I would never in a million years Trust them!! If I could give -10 stars I would!!

We are given instructions on meds and their after care treatment. A team member usually calls the next day to check on them and to answer any questions we may have. We've been using BANFIELD for 9 yrs. and would never go anywhere else for their care. Banfield has become apart of our family. Thank you for caring Banfield! We ❤️ you.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
