If you are wanting a Professional Grooming for your pet, this is not the place for you and your fur ball. I took my Yorkie in for a Spring cut (bath, nail trimming, teeth brushed). It went downhill when they went to trim her nails. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I admit nail trimming is not her favorite part, she does not like it. As did the first two times, they tried but soon came to me to tell me that they couldn't do it because she was pulling away. Someone who I assume was the Grooming Manager, Susan, explained to me that there are places that have a sling that can trim her nails without the possibility of her hurting herself while in the neck collar. This place doesn't have those tools. I would expect a place charging $100 to groom a pet would have the tools and the skills to do $100 job. When I got her home I found out what I got was a pet that had been sheared with a guard that was uneven on her face and uneven on her body. There was no evidence of her being "Groomed". Our "Groomer" or "Shearer" was Emily. I do not reccomend going to her at all. I was refunded the cost of the nail trimming. I assume her teeth were brushed, but I don't know that for sure. Had I inspected her closer before I left, I would have asked for a refund for the grooming and would've paid for the shearing. But that's on me. Will not be going back.

Not sure how you set an appointment just to still wait another 2-3hours.(appointment made for 1:30pm at 9am) I've done other walk-ins or same day appointments and never had this happen. It might be how this location operates, but ... that's wild. Then they call me(4:03pm) and say there is no hot water and if I'd like to reschedule. And that was after a 2 and a half hour wait. I told them I'd just come get her. I called back and then said to just give her a bath anyway, and was told that would be an hour . This is at 4:05pm I drive out there right after phone call and get there about 4:31pm and they said she was done and was about to get dryed. I said I'd wait around the store. She then said my dog didn't like the dryer and they would put her in the kennel to dry.... I said yeah ill take her... 😒 appreciate the service but awkward all around

They sold me a dying hermit crab. My kid had to watch it die slowly in the two days we had it. I live 45 minutes away, otherwise I would return it. You would think they'd be required to keep their animals in better living conditions.

This petco severely abuses their animals. There is a leopard gecko there that’s living in squalor, it has no extra fat reserves, is being fed dead mealworms (which does not give them the hydration they get from live) and looks to be on the brink of death. It is disgusting to keep animals in this condition and purchasing from this store perpetuates the abuse of these animals. Do not buy from this store.
