- PPPamApr 22, 20262.0First, I have to say that I have been taking my dog there for 8 yrs. I have to say that the groomers that I have used have been excellent. However, most recently the groomer I had been using for several yrs abruptly resigned..the local management failed to notify me about her departure until the day of my scheduled appointment. I arrived at the store and was notified that she was no longer there. I spoke with the manager and he did apologize and offered a discount on my next appointment with another groomer. When I pressed him on why did the store fail to notify me, he claimed that he assigned the asst manager to ensure customers were notified. Well, she did not do her job….After being a loyal customer for 8 years, I found this response very disturbing. It does seem like local management does not take customer service as an important part of good service. It does make me wonder if perhaps their terrible treatment of customers also extends to the groomers that work there. This is the second groomer that I have used there has left. Looks like many other groomers have left also. Petco HQ needs to take a look at what is going on here. Otherwise..my new groomer Laura did a great job!
