  They didn’t have what I needed in stock, but I’m still glad I went. I saw the staff taking the time to ask customers questions before selling fish, like how long the tank has been set up, if it’s been cycled, and what size it is. They were clearly making sure people had done their research and were ready, but in a really respectful way. It didn’t feel condescending at all. They focused on educating instead of preaching, and if someone didn’t know, they took the time to explain how to set things up properly. That was honestly awesome to see. A lot of people just don’t realize what fish actually need, and not every big box pet store takes that kind of care. It really makes a difference. I can't say this for every petco but this one is obviously being well trained. 🐟🐍🐦🐕🐈= ❤️

  Went in for a vaccine package for my kitten. The person who checked me in marked a number of relevant and needed vaccines/microchip pending so the vet wouldn’t provide them - thankfully the vet and her assistants were amazing and talked it through with me to get kitty her needed shots. Received her file tonight and it seems to be inaccurate, as it states she didn’t receive a vaccine I know she did, which means she’s going to likely get a double dose of rabies shot vaccine. A major problem comes in to the fact that the cashier charged sales tax, when tax was already included in the vaccine price as listed on the slip of paper she rang up. When I called customer service to ask for a refund of the sales tax, or to have someone just explain what the tax is for based on the services recieved, the agent stated he couldn’t really do anything except file a complaint and asked me to call the vetco line instead (though the error was on the store side of things, not the vet side.) I called the store the next morning, the person who answered again said, not their problem as they don’t deal with vetco things - and to call vetco. Or to call a store with a vetco inside it, instead of the mobile clinic. I called the vetco line, the agent checked their records and noted that yes, the tax was already included in the visit total, and the additional $21 in extra tax seemed wrong, but said he couldn’t do much but file a complaint, since it was the store that charged it, not the vet side of things. If you do go here for vet services, make sure you double check everything before leaving the store, paying, or signing anything, as a lot of confusion and miscommunication seems to happen, and getting anything resolved is just going to be a lot of throwing you around in circles.

  Tiana that works here is very knowledgeable and helpful. On many occasions she has gone above and beyond. I love what she has brought to the table in providing a larger and better fish selection to this store. Thanks for having her as a wonderful employee. She is great!

  all the nerite snails in the tank were flipped over and dead :( water quality was abysmal
