  The staff is always able to help when we have questions. The store is always clean and cheerful. This is the only store we will go to for our fur babies needs.

  Just went in here for the first time and will absolutely NEVER return! Just walking in the store smells absolutely horrible due to prolonged lack of cleaning enclosures. Only came in to get cork bark for our reptiles and happened to take a look at the reptiles for sale and the conditions of the animals and their enclosures was horrid. The blue tongued skink specifically was so weak it couldn't open it's infected eyes or even move a foot to come to me. Unbelievable. Should lose license to sell any cold blooded animals at the very least.

  Tired telling a sales lady we had a place for a fish, its called a bush fish we already have one was looking to get that one, she proceeded to try and talk me that we couldn't get this fish because she was worried about where we were going to put it, my wife and I have severadifferent aquariums our largest is a 300gal, we also have 2 210gal tanks a 180gal two 125gal aquariums along with 2 75gal and a 65gal and 60gal aquarium we have all sorts of fish even the same fish she wouldn't sale us never again will we shop at petco oh and I forgot we have a 40gal breeder and 2 29gal hospital aquariums I showed this to her and still she wouldn't sale us the fish i have videos and pictures of my aquariums and she still choose not to this video is of my 300gal

  Very conflicting situation.... Went to the store because with a little bit of research figured out that the goldfish we had bought somewhere else was in a bowl that was not appropriate so we went there to get a temporary 20 gallon tank and the heater and the light all for the goldfish because I was trying to teach a lesson to my child about how to ethically handle animals. The person there was very knowledgeable and I let them know that we didn't have the space currently but we needed a short-term resolution until we could find space for a larger tank and we were going to build the aquarium but we needed something just for today so they showed us several things and when it came down to purchasing it they refused to sell us a goldfish or the tank because I only had space for 20 gallons and they insisted I needed 30 gallons which I already said this was a short term resolution. They refused to sell it to me and my daughter was in tears. I called the manager the next day to let them know while I appreciated the sentiment behind what they were trying to do I literally had explained the situation and what the result was. They were not interested in where I was coming from and defended that the employee was well within their rights. I explained that was not what I was saying I was trying to suggest there was a better way to do things like provide other information like they weren't allowed to sell and then reaffirmed why they had that practice would have been a better experience. The manager literally hung up on me. It was really unfortunate and a terrible feeling when I was literally going there to help a goldfish have a better life and teach my daughter about the ethics of having a pet. Something was better than nothing in that moment and instead was literally accused of abusing animals. It didn't feel good. I get the message, and also am so disappointed in the entire experience.

  Raven is an absolute sweetheart, she helped me when I came in to buy a lot of items for my guinea pigs and helped me when I had questions on the food prices. She absolutely deserves a raise, she is one of the only employees who has ever gone above and beyond for me. Thank you again raven!
