When I made the booking, the dog was with me and visible to the staff. Despite this, the appointment went ahead. However, when I returned for the grooming, I was told they couldn't do it due to the dog's severe matting. This was incredibly frustrating because I had waited several days for this appointment. If I had known about the issue at the time of scheduling, I would have looked for a different groomer. Four days were wasted, and now I need to find another groomer and make a new appointment. I have no intention of doing business at a Petco store in the future.

Instead of using so much spray consider cleaning better. The spray also makes it unbearable for people with allergies to go into your store.

- SMS MOct 20, 20255.0A week ago, I had to say goodbye to my sweet 13-year-old dog. I went to this Petco prior to her crossing the rainbow bridge, because I knew they had the kits in stock that you can use to capture paw and nose prints. I set my items on the counter while crying and told the staff member why. She couldn’t have been more kind, empathetic and sincere, asking if I would like a hug. It was much needed and appreciated. As she rang up my items, we had a conversation about how awful it is to have to say goodbye to your furry best friends/family members. Working in retail is no easy feat, let alone if you have a customer who approaches you in tears. She handled the situation with such grace and kindness. Much appreciation and gratitude to her, on what was one of the saddest days of my life.
