  I had a wonderful follow up call experience with the vet assistant named Paige. She went out of her way to review notes in my dogs chart and was able to give me an in depth explanation on the care my dog received while in their care. Paige was very reassuring and made me feel at ease. Thank you!

  I recently switched to Banfield after a series of disappointing visits from my last veterinary clinic. The vets and staff at Banfield were incredibly kind, friendly and comprehensive regarding my pups care. I felt respected and informed with the way they answered all of my questions with patience, and have already put a care plan together for my dog that I'm confident in. Banfield offers affordable care plans for pet. I signed my dog up for the Senior Plus plan which includes dental cleanings, vaccinations, unlimited vet visits, and discounts on treatment. I'm already saving much more money compared to my last vet without sacrificing quality of treatment. I would highly recommend this pet hospital.

  Went in looking to get my 4 year old Lab neutered but was extremely anxious and worried due to his older age but they assured me its very common they broke down the whole process effectively and explained things thoroughly. They also have a nice payment plan you can sign up for that also comes with lots of benefits that i would recommend to any one who is worried about finances. From the first check up to the post surgery and even days after they communicated very effectively and showed genuine interest in my boys health and wellbeing, everything was extremely smooth. My boy is doing great and has had very minor side effects and has recovered great . Very pleasant experience from start to finish and very well mannered and professional team at the St. Louis park location. Thank you guys keep up the honest great work!

  I so appreciate everyone at Banfield Pet Hospital in St. Louis Park. They always treat animals and humans with respect and care. In addition to my dog’s regular check-ups, I have taken him to this pet hospital a few times if I thought he was injured or unwell. Not only was the staff able to get him in to see a doctor right away, but they go above and beyond by trying to minimize additional out-of-pocket costs (since I have a wellness plan for my pet) while still giving exceptional care. I also appreciate that they look at the pet’s whole picture of health instead of only the presenting issue. The doctors always call to keep me informed on any findings and treatment options, as well as sharing their honest, professional opinions when I ask questions. It is so reassuring to know that my dog is in such great hands. I can tell that everyone working at this pet hospital truly loves animals.

  Nothing but terrible experiences with this place. I’ll give you a list of examples as a courtesy warning to keep your pet as far away from them as possible. 1. When I took my dog there to have a growth removed, the vet told me he would give me antibiotics just in case there was an infection. When I picked her up, he refused antibiotics because he had changed his mind. One week and a few thousand dollars later, we were back in with an infection that could have been prevented. Not only that, but after he removed the growth from her ear, she could no longer hear. 2. I took my car in for what I thought was an emergency. They dismissed me to the ER saying it was too serious for them to help me with. A few hundred dollars and several hours later, the ER tells me there was nothing wrong with him. Something the vet at Banfield should have been intelligent enough to notice. 3. My dog died today and is on their wellness plan. I called to have the wellness plan cancelled as my dog was literally dead in their care right now, and they told me I needed to pay for the last few months of the plan anyway. And I 100% believe my dog would still be alive today if when I took her in in December, they had listened to me about my concerns rather than constantly dismissing me.
