- JBJools BrandtApr 16, 20261.0TERRIBLE! It took more than 5 hours to groom my standard poodle at the Richfield Petco (10a-3:30p) - I asked what was taking so long since we had a morning appointment - the groomer informed me that she had a lot of other dogs besides my dog, and that she was putting my dog in a kennel while she groomed other dogs that arrived AFTER my dog, and that if I wanted my dog groomed individually I could pay an extra $20 for a "VIP" appointment (the groom and bath cost $140). I will never return to Petco and I will be asking all other groomers if they have this ridiculous policy. I'm guessing not since it has never taken 5 hours for my dog to be groomed.
