I brought my cat (Beck) to Banfield from VEG to continue care and evaluation and monitoring of Apoquel toxicity. (IV Electrolytes, EKG, ect.) When we brought him into Banfield I stressed my concern about him and how I wanted to be notified of any changes in his demeanor or bloodwork. I called twice in the 6 hour span my cat was there, I was reassured he was resting and doing fine, but upon arrival to pick him up, he had done a 180 in the 6 hours and looked absolutely horrible. They disclosed they ran his bloodwork twice and that his toxicity levels had spiked and that I should bring him back to VEG immediately. Why was i not notified earlier as i requested? Then, once upon return to VEG, we find out Beck had fluid in and around his lungs from his body having been rejecting the IV treatment. I feel like Banfield put my cat in a back crate without monitoring him or taking my concerns about notifying me about his condition seriously and that ultimately lead to me losing my best friend of 8 years. So, please, i URGE you, if you love your fur baby in ANY capacity and have ANY other option, I would exercise them.

Is there a 0 star option? Unprofessional staff that will lie to cover their incompetence. Failed to provide booked services during the original appointment. When questioned why it wasn’t done they stammered and made an excuse they didn’t have the time to do a nail trim in an 8 hour period. My dog was drugged to accommodate this service and they failed to do the #1 job! You had 1 job! Rebooked the next day, drugged my dog again and they failed to complete service again but insisted on full payment for incomplete service. Manager on staff offered a $1.88 discount for my troubles! What a slap in the face for a 4 year customer and double wellness plan client.

Worst banfield I have ever been too. Staff are extremely insincere and could care less about you or your pet. My family went in for a end of life conversation and the doctor was extremely rude and dismissive to my family questions and concerns. I will NEVER recommend anyone here because the way they will treat you is horrible so I can just image how they will treat your pet. Only Banfield I will go to is St Louis Park MN definitely a much better experience and way better staff.
