Have been a Banfield client for about 10 years now with my dog. I’ve stayed with them due to convenient locations (moved several times when I was younger) Have had pleasant and some unpleasant visits. My 3 year old cat needed updated vax and had seen a vet that is (now) further away prior to, figured I’d again aim for convenience and take her to Banfield. We had our standard routine exam visit with the doctor, and one vaccine needed a 3 week booster. Scheduled the follow up booster during the office visit, confirmed with front desk this would be a tech appt. Was told boosters can ONLY be scheduled with a tech. Great! Two days prior to said visit, they called saying they scheduled it with a doctor and needed to reschedule it for the following week. No problem. My appt was rescheduled for 4:15pm, I was home by 4:30pm - I live 9 minutes away. When I requested a refund for the $60 office visit fee, Banfield Cares had the site manager call me to explain nothing relevant, she stated the tech does an exam and they will not refund the $60 office visit fee. I did not see a doctor and was there for about 5 minutes in the lobby. Surely the vet tech is not being paid that $60 office visit for 5 minutes of her time, and my young healthy cat did not need an exam (nor did she get one - basic vitals, like heart rate? Maybe?? ) for a booster vaccine given 3 weeks after the first dose. Staff is great, I’ve had it with price gouging and corporate greed.

I had to put my cat, Ninja, down after adopting him 10 years ago. We went through Banfield but another location and they haven't been anywhere near as good. My fur baby had to be put to rest sooner than expected and they had availability so we took a chance. The vet and vet techs were so much more caring than any other clinic we have been to. They made his passing as peaceful as possible and let us pick the spot as well as giving us a bell monitor to ring when we were ready. He passed so so peacefully with caring people! Fair prices too and we are on a tight budget. They even sent a hand written card with heartfelt grievances in it from multiple staff. Needless to say I'm switching my dog to this location for all of his future visits! Wouldn't trust anywhere else. ♥️
