I was dressed casually with no makeup, and it was clear I was judged by my appearance. When I asked the cashier who checked me out, Kevin, if people are allowed to skip the line, he said, “Yes, it depends.” That response was unacceptable and unprofessional. As a hotel manager, I was shocked by the disrespect, the lack of customer service, and the discriminatory behavior I experienced. I will not be returning. I expect a follow-up from a higher-level manager—if customer care matters at all in this store.
