- CLChelsea Lee6 days ago1.0I purchased a rat for my daughter and it died 7 days later. After it died we saw the lice crawling all over it looking for a new host. I called them right away and told them it died. I took his body there for a refund the next day, which they did give me. They told me they haven't had this issue in the last 6 months and when they looked at the others with a flashlight they didn't see anything. I tried to explain how to look for lice and that using a flashlight is not correct. They need to use a lice comb or brush against the hair to look down to the skin as they are blood sucking lice. Neither employee seemed to care enough to re-examine the rats and said they had a call into their vet. They had not sold any rats since I purchased mine and have marked them not for sale. I really wish I had taken mine straight to a vet after purchase for a full physical. He was a nice little guy. I feel terrible for the other rats sitting there.

- SAStacy AOct 9, 20251.0Went to this location today, tried to purchase an aquarium plant, the price at the store was more than online website price (I showed her the pic from the "PETCO" website showing the 20% coupon and the pricing), the cashier said she was not able to honor the 20% off, my only options were to send a request “Petco” to email me the 20% discount or I had to order online and then come back to pick it when it’s ready (hello I have the plant in my hands NOW). WOW! hmmmm I left and went somewhere else that actually wanted my money. (Please train your cashiers a little better.)
