We are more than grateful to the amazing Banfield Burnsville team. We moved back to our country, and for a month it was a challenge navigating the paperwork so our Boomer could travel with us. Then the government shutdown delayed everything even more, but this efficient team was behind all our efforts to bring Boomer home. They helped us with all the required procedures, even remotely, since we were able to travel as planned. Dr. Nancy is the best, Without their help, none of this would have been possible. Now our family is complete, and Boomer is with us. Thank you so much!!!

Took my cat in for bloody urine; I initially assumed a uti but I am not a vet. They did a urinalysis and determined it was a uti. Paid over 300$ the first visit for an office visit, rabies vaccine, urinalysis and some amoxicillin. My cat was on medication for a week with no improvement, so we brought her back to hopefully get a urine culture or some deeper testing. They again recommended a urinalysis and dismissed me for suggesting a more comprehensive testing be done as a urinalysis was already done. They disagreed and wanted to hold her to take a urine sample. 80$ later, they couldn’t get a urine sample. They also mentioned she could possibly have a bladder stone due to shadowing in her bladder, but in order to be sure they would need over 325$ for an xray. I declined and they asked me to bring in a urine sample the next day. I take a sample and bring it in, another 130$, and 6 hours later I get a call telling me my cat needs to be dropped off for a urine culture which will be over 300$ including the exam fee. I reminded them I had already asked for that to be done and I was irritated at the money wasted. I asked them the results of the urine test and they said they didn’t know and would call me back. I get a call back and they say the exact same thing; over 300$ for a urine culture but can’t tell me results of the urinalysis I have paid over 200$ for at this point. I decline and get a call the next day from the vet “explaining the test results” and again saying she needed a urine culture for over 300$. I said I need to think about it and was told “thanks bye” and hung up on me. I took my cat to another vet today and through ultrasound for 71$ in 5 minutes they were able to tell me she clearly does not have a uti and instead has a bladder stone. They showed and explained to me the ultrasound and it was very clear there was a bladder stone. Banfield is scamming people out of money for purposeless tests and has no interest in pet health. There is not a single good thing about this place as the staff, aside from about 2 people, are rude and clueless.
