I came in with my two young kids to get everything we need for our new senior rescue dog. Kayla helped us immediately and walked us through everything that we would need for our new family member! She also answered the hundreds of questions my kids had about the animals in store and took them around to see and point out the differences in colorings and sizes and all that. She was really amazing and helpful! She must have spent close to an hour with us, all while helping everyone else in the store too, always coming back to check on us. Really helped calm my nerves about our new senior rescue dog. Thank you Kayla, I really appreciate everything you did!

As a professional in the herpetological industry and a reptile business owner, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding my experience at your location today. While I intended to purchase a crested gecko to add to my collection, the lack of basic husbandry standards and the dismissive attitude of your team were unacceptable. Incident Summary & Staff Conduct My interaction began with an associate named Matt, who informed me that I was not permitted to view a gecko unless I committed to a purchase beforehand. This is a highly irregular practice that prevents a keeper from assessing the health and vigor of an animal before acquisition. When I pressed for assistance, Matt walked away, stating he was "not allowed to help," and sent another female associate to assist. This individual was overtly condescending, asking, "Do you even know anything about these?" Her demeanor was not only unprofessional but insulting to a seasoned keeper. When I pointed out that the gecko she presented was visibly emaciated and unhealthy, she slammed the enclosure door and began mumbling under her breath as she walked away. Observations of Substandard Husbandry Upon further inspection of the reptile department, I noted several critical violations of basic animal care standards: • Crested geckos - the one shown to me was inhumanely thin (likely suffering from advanced malnourishment or parasitic load). • Bearded Dragons: Two out of the three individuals on display exhibited severe, advanced cases of tail rot. As a professional, I can confirm these were some of the worst instances of necrosis I have seen in a retail setting; they require immediate veterinary intervention. • Veiled Chameleon: The enclosure had 0% humidity with a bone-dry water dish. Chameleons rely on moving water/dripping systems for hydration; a dry dish is useless for Chameleons, and there were no crickets visible

Told them I wanted my Aussie’s hair short but not too short, he comes out and they shaved him down to his skin. 0/10 recommend

Edit: They replied promptly, that is appreciated, I hope this changes future communication logistics for the store. I will be switching from 1 star to 3. If they change this I will make it a 5. With no warning on their website or in the provided hours I drove all the way out here. Even tried to call before I came in. Figured they were busy with last minute customers before weather actually got bad, nope no one’s here. Gotta give notice somehow, that’s so inconsiderate.

They are the only groomers whom I would trust my Yorkie in their hands. Their nutrition specialists have helped us get both our cat and our dog on the best foods and their instocks are out of this world. Keep up the good work and see you next time.
