- LLLyndsaeOct 21, 20251.0This was my first time at a Petco and definitely my last. I stopped in for a dental powder for my cat, which I verified via the website beforehand was carried. I spent nearly 10 minutes searching the cat aisles for the powder, only to find dental treats (all from the same brand in a few different flavors). Meanwhile, the designated dental aisle for dogs had at least one HUNDRED different options for dogs ranging from treats to toys to powders to water additives. I asked an employee where to find the powder for cats. They seemed confused but said any supplements and medications they carried would be in the next aisle over. This aisle again contained numerous options for dogs, but nothing for cats. There was no spot on the shelves where this item is normally carried, so they weren’t out of stock. Petco is an awful place for cat owners. Take your money somewhere else where cat care is seen as equal to dog care.

On friday i went in looking for a 40 gallon tank for my gerbils to give them an upgrade and Nicole helped me out so much! I had a few questions, which she seemed happy to answer, helped me bring the tank up front and out to my car and helped me load it in as well. Overall I never have a bad experience here and the staff are always super helpful and friendly! :)
- JLJimmy LonerOct 11, 20251.0This store is ridiculous, they have a Tortoise in the glass cage in the corner trying to claw his way out. He doesn't have enough room. He just kept in that corner, trying to get out. Thats not good. I told the girl and she just said he's mad because there's not enough room and he's mad because he wants to roam. There were bigger cages he could have been in. Hes quite big to be in that small of a cage. Very upsetting to see him struggling.
