Like all good coaches, they observe and point out how you can improve your techniques to be more consistent and to send clear messages to your dog. They always encourage rewarding with treats or to "love on your dog." It's a totally positive approach - and they make sure you're using your flat collar, prong collar, connectors, leashes, etc., properly and consistently. We are in obedience Level 3 - and it's such a joy to see ALL of the dogs improve week after week.
