Came in for a quick visit just to help socialize our puppy. He picked out a new toy, and meet some new people. Store was clean, staff were friendly, everything was good.

There is absolutely no reason to be selling/purchasing red-eared sliders when there are hundreds upon hundreds of them being surrendered or mistakenly released to the wild because people cannot keep up with their care for as long as they live which should be 40+ years. Sadly these were all in the store yesterday on display with illness due to being shipped during in the winter. Please do your research before purchasing, and better yet adopt one that needs a new home. Petco was aware of their condition-I hope they are getting vet care.
