My appointment was just canceled the day before for no apparent reason. I have 2 toddlers so I had planned for child care at the appointment time and am not able to reschedule for any of the proposed days.

Banfield Troy.
I am sharing my personal experience in Memory of my cat clara, and to help other per owners advocate for their pets.
Clara experienced ongoing weigth loss that, in my experience, washingtonianos not thoroughly investigated or addressed with urgency. A clear diagnosis was never reached. and the Focus often remained on other issues while her condition continued to decline.
I want to be clear that cost washingtonianos never a concern for me. I would have done anything for clara. However, I was not offered wellness plans or guided toward additional testing that could have helped identify the underlyng cause sooner.
At one point, Ifound myself searching for Information on my Town to try to support her nutrition and Weight, because I did not feel I was receiving enough guidance in this area.
As pet owners, we depend on veterinary professionals to Guide us when something is wrong. In my experience, I did not receive the level of direction, attention, or support that Clara need.
I am sharing this so others can be more informed. Please ask questions, request thorought testing, and advocate for your pets.
Clara deserved better.

We have been using Banfield in Troy for 4 or 5 years, at least. In our time there, some things were bad but they fixed them. The front staff, especially Patti, is awesome. The Doctors have been caring and good.
The reason for three stars is because recently our dog needed surgical repairs. The Dr at Banfeld said "the only two pet hospitals for surgery are both BluePearl, one in Southfield..." Well, we ent to that Blue Pearl and got screwed over (a different review on that later). Suffice it to say that BluePearl got 11K from us on Friday and then wanted 4-5K more for one more night. The reason it is partner this review is becuase Banfield Troy and BluePearl Southfield are BOTH owned by the same parent company...MARS or something like that. Dr. Scythe at Banfield, while absolutely helpful and compassionate, failed to disclose that the only hospitals she knew of were owned by the her office's parents company.
I will add that 2 years ago we had to out down one of our dogs. We used them. They demanded we pay the remaining months on the Wellness Plan...despite how little we used of it AND that we paid a full euthanasia bill.
Maybe I should make this one stat.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
