Looking at the register, the kid is on his cell phone walked past two employees, not one word spoken. Wasn’t until we put our purchase on the on the register, then he got off his phone. And what happened to uniforms and name tags? Seems this place stays open only because they have baby sitters. Not employees. First impression is everything. Needs a good vacuum, a good mop, uniforms, and retraining of its employees, managers, and district mangers.

We first went to the Westland location hoping to meet a pet we were interested in, only to find out the animal had just been transferred to Sterling Heights that morning. We then drove 45 minutes to get there, but weren’t even given the chance to meet the pet because someone arrived a few minutes before us. It felt unfair and dismissive. In the past humane society would take time to meet all potential adopters to find the best forever home, but that didn’t happen here. We left feeling discouraged and disappointed.
