- APAmber Pagan3 days ago1.0We visited this Petco today because we were genuinely interested in adopting a dog. We were told the two puppies that we were looking at (Justin and Chris) were sleeping because they had already been playing with another family and were very happy and playful puppies. While they rested, we walked around the store to looking at all supplies we would need—food, a crate, leashes, toys, etc.—since we were preparing to adopt. When we returned to ask about the adoption process, the puppies were awake, so we asked if they could come out so we could see which one we bonded with. We were told they are “only taken out for serious adopters” and that they had already had enough play time for the day. This was extremely frustrating, as we were serious adopters and were literally trying to make an informed decision before adopting. Being denied the opportunity to interact with the puppies made the process feel dismissive and unwelcoming, so we ultimately left without adopting. Adoption should be encouraged, not discouraged by poor communication and attitude.

She’s the prettiest cat I’ve ever seen. It was a very quick and easy experience however, I did not like the box they put her in. She was like the same size of the box.
