- DDDonFeb 23, 20261.0Hi, I asked for 12 month supply for heartgard after test. I asked for 12 month heartgard for both dogs. I specifically told them NOT THE FLEA AND TICK MIX. For Cinnamon they followed directions fine and included separate Rx for flea tick giving me option. For Ginger they sent me Sempatrio which is mix. NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. Both Rx were emailed after To me Pharmacy told emailed copies cannot be honored. Only originals. I called vetco and got answering service with no help.. I went to Petco to resolve no help. Petco called and said I was on my own and condemned me for complaining about the service and treatment I received. I paid twice the price for test and can't use Rx because they were emailed to me. No help . Very disappointed When I called vetco they told me no way to contact the vet who wrote Rx to correct and call in to pharmacy or write original Rx that I can use. The ONLY remedy is for me to start all over and schedule another appointment after already taking dogs in and paid twice to going price of heartworm test to get the Rx. Can't use Rx that is EMAILED copy not original. Pharmacy made it clear that all vets know better. I am being forced to correct the errors made by vetco instead of vetco correcting their own mistakes. They should contact the vet who tested and examined my dog to call me to resolve and correct their errors and call pharmacy to resolve without making me start all over. I paid $110 for 2 heartworm tests. Twice the going price elsewhere. And I can't even use the Rx s. Start over with new appointment and wait 2 weeks. Unacceptable. Not good service... NO SERVICE OR FOLLOW UP AFTER MISTAKES. Even though the manager of Petco Frandor told me Petco is not involved. I must contact VETCO for remedy. However, my receipts for heartworm tests and all other services are PAID TO PETCO AT PETCO REGISTER. So PETCO does share the responsibility of poor services and complaints. Please advise staff of their responsibilities.
