Awesome veterinarian services! Open on weekends was super helpful, and surprisingly way less expensive than my previous longtime veterinarian.

My dog Broc has been a Banfield patient since he was a puppy. It’s because of the amazing veterinary care he has received throughout his life from only Banfield staff that he will be 15 years old in January.

Brought in a kitten found on the freeway. I asked for an estimate by phone and the receptionist said she couldn't find her price sheet but they'd check before charging me anything. Once there, she said I had to sign up for the exam coupon and tell the doctor. The doctor was confused when I shared that info and said the front desk should know. (Ok?)
The facility was absolutely filthy, blood on the walls and grime caked into the corners, it's a shame for such expensive rooms to be maintained in such a way. I asked for dewormer for tapeworm and they gave him pyrantel. Tapeworm persists 6 weeks later, I call to confirm it was administered. They said he needs another dose. Incorrect - Pyrantel is a drug known to be ineffective for tapeworm.
I was able to get my kitten into my regular vet (thank god) and compare xray costs for his shoulder. Banfield quoted $4-600 dollars for a shoulder xray. Fortunately, my vet charged around $200.
It's known Banfield has a reputation for poor animal care standards and financial exploitation, but to experience it first hand was a disappointment. The chain and this location in particular are truly awful. Their protocols foster poor communication. Think twice before risking your pets life here.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
