Emergency Veterinarian Service
Howell Animal Hospital was established in 1952 by Dr. Charles Renton. Originally, he treated all types of farm animals and pets. Today our staff includes 6 veterinarians, Dr. Rob Renton is our equine veterinarian who travels throughout Livingston county and into Washtenaw, Shiawassee, Oakland and Genesee treating horses. While in the clinic, Dr Mary Lindamood, Dr Diane Kettel, Dr Lee Ann Fosdick and Dr Connie Sveller concentrate primarily on cats and dogs.

- SKStephen KuchJan 6, 20191.0We took our dog in for a broken wrist. Dr. Lindamood was very quick in and out. She was so quick that she applied the support stick (tonge depresser) directly on the skin causing an ulcer to the leg. Their careless expediency almost cost my dog his life. When I tried to talk to them they avoided me. Then when they finally decided to have correspondence, they blamed me for not going to my regular vet. Truth of the matter is, if they wrapped the leg properly the additional cost they incurred me never would have happened. Make your decision, if you love your pet take them someplace where they are not a pay check.
