So I came in to pet and play with the dogs, it’s great, it looks like a fabulous store. Then I did some digging afterwards. So these documents mean a few things. First the one with little text shows the broker connections with Steve took and will yoder. Brokers are pretty much who take the dogs from homes and breeders (some who are puppy mills) and send them to the company. So it is very hard to see where these puppies came from. Then the other two documents show information on both brokers. Now for yoder, it isn’t directly him. But it is known that in Ohio it is a family of amish people called the yoder that have a large puppy mill operation. So it shows the family members he is connected to. The other one shows how Steven is apart of Blue Ribbon Puppies (BRP). Now this organization is on the horrible 100 list of mills. Steven is the one who take puppies from the mills and transfer them to stores. This organization is a bunch of brokers who are SUPPOSED to check on the animals but don’t. It’s often found that the majority of the pets come from at home puppy mills. Please do your research on it, it is heartbreaking. Along with that BRP sent out puppies that were sick, that got humans sick. Ultimately I just want to show you that these aren’t properly sourced from what I have found.
To the owner,
I would love if you respond to this review with your breeders. I want to be wrong. But I need names, I can’t support operations that aren’t COMPLETELY transparent in where there dogs came from. I want to be wrong, please correct me, give me names, show me your breeders. If you can’t I am going to assume that my research is correct. My guess is that your response is going to be rude because you can’t give me names otherwise you’ll be exposed for lying. Please let me be wrong.

My husband and I got 2 puppies from Puppy Dog Nursery and we had a pretty good experience with them. We got a Shih Tzu puppy named Bentley and we got a Maltese Bichon mix named Sprout. Bentley is so cute and lovable and perfect for our family. I’m still trying to give Sprout a chance. She’s a little more difficult in my opinion but we just started bringing her to puppy dog training class and I’m hoping this will improve her overall. We have 2 younger kids and they love our puppies. They were a great addition to our family. I definitely recommend Puppy Dog Nursery to anyone looking for a puppy :)

I visited this puppy store today around 7 PM and had a very disappointing experience. When we walked in, there were three girls sitting at the registers who didn’t appear to even work there, and the two employees on shift didn’t greet us or acknowledge us at all.
We were interested in playing with a puppy, but they didn’t offer any assistance until we went up to them ourselves. When we asked to play with one puppy, they allowed it, but when we asked about another, they suddenly said we couldn’t due to “health and safety.” That was confusing, especially since less than two weeks ago I was allowed to interact with multiple puppies without any issue. The inconsistency wasn’t even the biggest problem — it was the attitude.
The employees were sitting there laughing, talking about their friends, and openly complaining about how much they don’t want to work there, all while completely ignoring customers. It felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable as a paying customer who just wanted a positive experience.
Management seriously needs to address the behavior of whoever was working the evening shift today around 7 PM. Customer service was completely lacking, and the overall environment felt unwelcoming and unprofessional.

I had the BEST experience with Puppy Dog Nursery and I’m so happy I chose them to find my little puppy, Mia! From the very beginning, the staff was kind, patient, and super helpful. You can tell they really care about their puppies and want them going to loving homes.
The place was clean, well organized, and the puppies looked healthy, happy, and well taken care of. They answered all my questions and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable, not rushed or stressful at all.
Mia is the sweetest, healthiest little puppy, and you can see she was raised with love. She adjusted so well at home, which says a lot about how she was treated before coming to me. I’m beyond grateful to Puppy Dog Nursery for bringing her into my life.
If you’re looking for a puppy and want a place that truly cares, I 100% recommend them. Thank you for my baby Mia! 🐶
