- KSKim SDec 25, 20251.0My dog needed his nails trimmed as the dew claw was close to growing in. I asked about sedation to trim. The lady vet did not want to “upset” my dog by touching his paws saying she would be creating a bad relationship and wouldn’t be able to treat him in the future if she upsets him. Then she said, “Dogs don’t need their nails trimmed”!!! Does this sound truthful to anyone?! We are going to a new vet - who couldn’t believe any vet would say domesticated dogs don’t need their nails trimmed.

Way more expensive than other vets in the area, only gave me a 6 month prescription, saying "with this medicine, he has to be rechecked every 6 months" even though he's been on it for several years and other vets approve 1 year. Also would not allow me to comfort and pet my dog when he got stressed. Told me I had to stay away. No way I would ever recommend this place to anyone.
