  Went in to purchase a ball python today and asked to see the snake before buying it and Mike apparently the manager told me I couldn’t hold it until I purchased it terrible experience I will never go back and I highly suggest going to raising reptiles

  My husband and I stopped in the other day to pick out our first fish for aquarium. We did a little window shopping at a few other pet stores, but Petco had the best looking fish. We weren’t 100% certain what fish would be best to start with, but thankfully Mike was there to help us pick out some great sets of starter fish. He made sure we didn’t pick out anyone who could get eaten or bullied, and made sure we had a fun assortment Mollies, Cory Catfish, and Platys to fill our aquarium. Thank you Mike for all your help!

  I visited this store as it was the closest petco to my home. The reason for my visit was because I have a very creative smart and stubborn dog who has had some leash troubles for awhile. He was very inconsistent when walking with a collar or harness often times breaking them and or slipping free. I even tried buying one of the muzzle loop leads to no avail. I was shopping around and had an idea of what I needed and I wasn’t sure what would solve my issues because it all looked the same. This is where Mike an employee at this store came in and asked if I needed assistance which I most certainly did. He was extremely knowledgeable about my dogs breed and how to best break the habits I was dealing with he made excellent product recommendations and together we came up with a solution of a sturdy harness coupled to a muzzle loop lead with a decent leash. I spent almost $120 on the set up and almost regretted it thinking my pet and I would continue to face issues. Upon taking him out after showing him his new things and he was excited to wear them. He finally stopped pulling and is extremely receptive to heeling and doesn’t pull while still having the normal mobility he has always had. I can’t thank Mike enough for taking the time out of his day to assist me with a creative problem solving matter like this. He definitely went above and beyond to best understand my issues and Ghost’s (my pitbull beagle mix). I recommend the staff at this location. If any management sees this I hope Mike gets the recognition he deserves for being friendly professional and personal with customers like myself.
