- RJRobert Taylor JrAug 18, 20231.0I made an appointment at a Vetco vaccine clinic for my dog to recieve his rabies vacine. I filled out the online information form about my pet. I included the fact that my dog had a negative reaction to the Leptospirosis. They confirmed my appointment. I took time off of work, arrived early and on arrival, they asked some questions, when I mentioned the reaction to the Leptospirosis vaccine, they said "sorry, we can't give your dog any vaccines BECAUSE of the negative reaction to the Lepo vaccine." I filled out and gave all of the information BEFORE I took time off work and arrived. My dog was NOT getting the Leptospirosis, JUST a rabies vaccine. Unacceptable. My dog is 7 years old, only needed the rabies vaccine, which he has had before with NO issues. Vetco should have READ the information form I completed and notified me before I took time off work. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Denying a state required vaccine to a pet should be illegal and most definetly is UNETHICAL. Shame on them.
