  We boarded our Amazon at Christmas time. The place and cage were very clean and not in some closet or back room. Many of the larger birds were perched out in the open. Since then they have remodeled the store and it is beautiful - very clean still. Happy, well cared for birds. Jacob was great. He took care of my bird when he was at the now closed Pet Discount store in Livonia.

  What an amazing local business to have! Had to stop in as I'm iso a bird friend, they answered my questions and let me take as long as needed in the bird room. The birds were very friendly and STUNNING. I would also say they're reasonably priced. When I'm ready this will be where I make my purchase

  I was avidly hunting for an Indian ring neck that I just adored and where I live in NC, the options are very slim. I stumbled across this place online and from the very first interaction they were extremely helpful, professional, and had absolutely beautiful, healthy birds. They truly went above and beyond to help me get the bird that I loved and made the entire process painless to get him shipped via delta to NC where I live. I just paid for him yesterday and tonight he is at home with me getting used to his new home and family. I highly recommend anyone wanting a bird or needing anything to check them out, great experience! Thank you 😊

  This is our second time (2nd bird) buying a bird from Exotic Bird Shop, and once again, the experience was top-notch. Huge shout out to Ari for helping us find the perfect new addition to our family! Their expertise makes all the difference. We highly recommend this shop to anyone, we wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 stars!

  I was considering buying a bird from this store, as they have beautiful stock, but I very quickly changed my mind after hearing the stores sales pitch. The sales manager was telling absurd lies about how they only source their birds from 'licensed breeders' in the South and upon inquiry about their credentials he floundered, offering no examples of what said 'licenses' are. I happen to know exactly who their wholesalers are, and I sell birds to them. I wouldn't trust these shiesters at all with an expensive bird purchase, look into breeders directly in Florida or check the Chicago bird stores before buying anything. Extremely distrustful for the price point!
