- AMA MSep 1, 20254.0Love the team, they've been great to my pets for the most part except I think if you guys are going to prescribe a medication you need to have it on hand. Or find a better way to go about getting them, Because supposedly I could take it to a "human" pharmacy and they said they didn't even carry it being canine specific medication so now shes waiting about a week before starting her second antibiotic to get it from a company online (chewy, and we ordered the day it was prescribed). I hate to admit, i feel like the vet was better when it was in PetSmart..... Since then I feel like it's declining and our doctor seemed really unsure of his opinion during my dogs follow up after her major surgery so I'm finding myself following up with someone an hour away, that said I could see my own vet for the F/U in the first place, because he doesn't trust his own opinion......
- JKJamie KetchumAug 14, 20254.0My boyfriend and I LOVE this vet! They're always so sweet and treat our two cats well. Our cats are very health sensitive so we see the staff quite a lot... In 10+ visits to them in the past year, I've only ever been met with one rude staff member. I will say that the staff is sometimes wrong (no vet/doctor is right all the time), but is always 100% open about the costs of testing. And their insurance plans are very reasonable--brought a dental cleaning down from nearly $2000 to $700-some. I don't particularly care for how long drop-appointments take, but that'd be my only gripe. Also, my cat once had a sore on her burst and they were able to squeeze her in right away, which was very appreciated. I'm moving out of the area in a few months and I'll be sad to no longer have access to this Banfield location!
