Been going here for 40 years easily the BEST veterinary hospital in the county, if not state. I mean our cats 🐈 bless their dramatic souls. 🙄 have scratched bitten peed on hissed unyielding ferver and made noises I've never heard an animal make .. yet this staff has patiently and lovingly assisted our family with not only the latest pair of cuddly spoiled irrationally fearful cats but as I said 40 years of animals (and their babies) they are a whole family centered clinic and help accommodate you and your slightly difficult pets 💙 thank you for such wonderful care of the fur families of kennebec valley 💙 ❤️ 😊

Dr Penney & staff very professional and provided excellent care to my 10 yo feline- Turbo. Dr Penney very proficiently and effectively, completed the APHIS examination and paperwork submission. Making it ALL possible for Turbo to travel with us out of country. 😻👫 THANK YOU 😃

I called Companion Animal Clinic on Monday morning on March 20th. Our dog which is Border Collie/Lab had diarrhea that morning and there was a lot of blood coming out. She hadn't been feeling well or eating much for a few days before this. So I called the animal clinic and told the reseptionist what was going on and was hoping to be seen that day because it seemed like an emergency to me and I told her that. She acted like it wasn't that big a deal and said I was caller six that morning and someone would get back to me. It's Friday now and I haven't had a call back from them. We ended up calling our daughter and she got us in with her vet (Brunswick Veteranary Clinic) that Monday morning the same day I called Companion. They gave our girl a sonogram and found a tumor next to her spleen but thought it was okay and benign. They also did blood work and a urine test which all came back fine. They did give us anti bacterial medication thinking it was a simple bacteria infection and our dog is doing so much better with no blood in her stools. I wouldn't recommend Companions to anyone with a dog. In their reponse to my review, they adsolutely did not contact us for an appoinment the next morning. Normally they would talk to the person that called and confirm I would think. I sat with my dog all afternoon 40 miles away at a place that would take her that day and never missed a call. Just saying!!!
