We have a setup already of a tank with rocks, filter, light, etc. The sales person refused to sell my mom a simple goldfish. Stating that the setup we had was too small (they’ve never seen it) and that each goldfish needs a minimum of 10gallons. I have never heard of something so crazy. The employee continued to berate my mom and tell her she was cruel and that she should realize fish are living beings. My son already has one “fair fish,” and was excited for a second fish. He was very sad and dejected by the behavior of this employee. We will never be back to Petco.

I tested the water and the nitrate levels looked like they were high, but hard to tell from the color scheme. They told me you do, so I came in today. Sara was busy cleaning a tank, but quickly helped me. She tested my water sample and agreed that the nitrate level was very high. I asked her what to do and she took me to the chemical isle, pointed out some products explaining what each one does and how to use it. She answered all of my questions and told me what to do next. She was simply AMAZING!!! I wound up spending $140, but have piece of mind. Thank you for providing such expert help. You should advertise that you do that because I couldn't find anyone to help me. As I thought of it more, I wondered since we buy our fish from you, could you help me with this. Sara was OUTSTANDING!!!!!
