From saving my corgi when her bladder burst to managing my old dogs comfort and care, Banfield does it all. Everyone is kind, informative, and take the time to answer every one of my too too many questions to ensure my pets needs are met at all times. All our pets are on various plans with Banfield based on their specific needs. I especially love having access to a live chat for in between scares, and the easy access to the doctors that know my pets best.

The receptionist was friendly enough. Once we got into the patient room with our puppy, it became a series of sales pitches for their “wellness plan”. The first assistant who came in pitched me the plan multiple times despite me verbalizing this was all too much, I would need a moment to think and process what was being offered etc. We were really only there with the goal of an exam and distemper shot however the focus was not on that but rather this plan that they were trying to upsell. The constant pressure while the vet stood and hovered while I was being pitched for the third time was very uncomfortable. I had to then bluntly ask to have a moment to ourselves to process this. The tech barely left when another tech came in and said he was informed about what’s going on and asked where our heads were. Again I explained we only came here for the exam and have been pressured to buy this plan despite asking several times to have a moment to think. I told him that we would now just be doing the exam and going on our way. We then waited so long for the vet to come in we frankly almost left. We had been waiting for the exam to start for over 45 minutes at this point. Just to START the exam. Never going back. I do not appreciated being pressured to make a serious commitment in the span of minutes, while be intensely stared at to make an immediate decision. This place is clearly all about money and that’s not who I want caring for a member of my family.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
