0 zero stars after a disgusting incident this past Friday. Tried calling customer service to report the matter but was told that I could only escalate the issue locally. As many of the other reviews stated the front desk staff named "Sam" was extremely inappropriate, rude, unprofessional, and aggressive which led to escalated tensions and cops being called. The store manager was attempting to resolve the issue but it was unfair and unprofessional to begin with. Additionally, Dr. Brown lacked customer service and clearly does not care about the well being of our pets. Senior Leadership Dr. Angela Silva and Dr. Shelly Ferris needs to be made aware of what's happening at this location considering its the only Vetco full service animal hospital in Maryland.

Should be ZERO stars! Avoid at all costs. They canceled my visit while I was one hour into the two hour drive to the location. They had staffing issues. These things happen and it’s not the end of the world, it was annoying but they apologized profusely and offered to make it right with a free service coupon if I would reschedule at a different location. I accepted. Then the second location ALSO called and canceled just a few days before the visit. Now I’m really annoyed because this is twice now.
What has me furious is that the rude snippety desk receptionist has refused to honor the free visit coupon given as an apology! So I’ve taken off work a total of three times now and had to pay $91.
Unorganized, unprofessional, inconsiderate and dishonest business practices that everyone should avoid at all costs

While we find the veterinarian care provided to our 3 German Shepherds excellent, unfortunately, it has been a nightmare jumping through hoops to fill their monthly medications and prescription food. Each of our dogs is a Petco Vital Care Premium Member. Sadly, Petco’s online systems don’t talk to each other so now I have duplicate profiles on the Petco app and the prescriptions don’t show up on either of the duplicate profiles! In addition, the Petco store where the veterinary care is provided also is not able to assist with us purchasing their prescription food since they do not have access to their prescriptions because these don’t populate into our Petco Vital Care profiles or the app. UGH! From a customer perspective, I strongly recommend Petco find a solution to these system issues to make whole and improve the customer service experience.
I am in tears!!! What a nightmare of a staff, made a 5 pm appointment over a week ago, and I did not get a text asking me to confirm. They called me and told me they gave away my 5pm appointment but then gave me a 445 appt. I got there at 4:50 and they turned me away i was only 5 min late. I hate this place for doing this. I need to get her shot immediately because she needs her glands expressed but she cannot get them expressed without her updated rabies shot. I am so sick about this and I seriously have never hated a place more than this one for giving my appointment to someone else then telling me it was at 4:45 and I was only 5 minutes late due to a little traffic. This place is horrible.

This place is cheaper, but you get what you pay for. The veterinarian agreed that my dog may have a UTI based on the symptoms I described. The veterinarian's assistant could't get a urine sample, so the veterinarian recommended I just start giving my dog the medication for a UTI.
I explained that I prefer not to give my dog medication if we're not sure it's necessary. The veterinarian pretty much insisted that giving her the medicine was the best route to take.
However, as soon as I got home, I was able to easily get a urine sample from my dog. When I returned with the urine sample and the medication hours later, Vetco would not reimburse me for the untouched, unnecessary UTI medication ($124). They just charged me another $90 to have a urine analysis done.
Really frustrated that the veterinarian and team couldn't do a better job. I think sending me home with medication without any urine analysis was the quickest, easiest thing to do, costing me $124, likely for nothing.
UPDATE: Got a call from the manager later. She was very nice/professional. She was able to shed a little light on the veterinarian's decision. I feel a little better even though I still wasn't refunded for the medication. I'm changing my 1 star rating to 4 stars and hoping for the best going forward.
