- LHLindsey HamillSep 11, 20251.0Wish I could leave 0 stars. I woke up to my dog actively seizing at 6:20am. Scooped her up, ran to my car and asked my husband to call Pets ER. Their response, we stop taking patients at 6:30am so we can leave by 8. He explained this was life or death. They didnt care. I called them and pleaded at 6:31am. I was turning off the bypass. I was two minutes away. I would be in their parking lot at 6:33am. They didnt care. They said they would put her down for me but they would not access and would not treat. I was 3 minutes away. Not 30, not 33 not an hour and 3. 3 minutes from help. They told me go to Dover. I did but it was too late. They are horrendous people.

I brought my dog of almost 16 years in here to unexpectedly be put down after a major decline after his original vet was already closed. It was freezing outside and they took my suffering dog away from me in his bed and locked the doors and had me wait outside as I was sobbing. I was terrified I was going to lose my baby before they came and got me and did not want him to die alone. I had to knock on the door again and beg them to not let my dog die without me. We were met with zero compassion and I was not able to hold him as he passed away. Was told I had to sit on the floor with him while they administered the euthanizing agents. I worked in state prison as a nurse myself, and have never treated anyone with that lack of compassion.
