Since 1965, Congressional Aquarium, Inc. carries a huge selection of rare freshwater and saltwater fish, aquatic plants, and aquarium supplies in Rockville, MD. We carry a broad selection of both common and hard-to-find freshwater fishes in "the cleanest tanks in town." We have more than 25 varieties of live-bearers on hand at any time, from Fancy Guppies to Snow-White Mickey Mouse Moons. Harder-to-find species, like Zebra Plecos, rare Electric Blue Jack Dempseys, Keyhole Cichlids, and Gardneri Killies, fill in the remainder of our tanks. In the 400-gallon saltwater section, everything from Green Chromis to Zebra Stripe Moray Eels can be found. The store has at least one shark egg on hand most of the time. Invertebrate enthusiasts will find everything from camel shrimp to octopuses. In either of our two mini-reef aquariums, one might find anything from acropora corals to elegans corals.
