  If I could give 0 stars, I would. These poor animals, the poorer conditions, and the workers habits need to stop being overlooked. I came in there last month, a college worker helped me out on some information on the hamsters and mice. Everything was clean, organized, and he was so very kind and helpful. I genuinely have no idea what happened. I came in today, and not a worker in sight. I just needed one small filter cartridge for my fish tank and thats it. The shelves were completely empty, spiderwebs everywhere, and lots of mysterious drinks on the counters. Whatever. I go over to look at the fish, since I soon would like to start another tank. All of the poor salt water fish tanks were DISGUSTING. Red spills, other mysterious spills, and dead fish scattered everywhere in the tank. I caught the ONE SINGLE WORKER that was there, about the snails, and he had no idea about anything I was asking. Than he soon left mid conversation to check out another costumer, because again, he was the ONLY worker in the whole store. "Now Hiring" is bs. I know plenty of people that have applied there WITH EXPERIENCE and have not gotten anything back. Obviously it does not matter if they have experience or not, since the workers have NO CLUE what they are doing. This is truly disappointing, coming from a true animal lover.

  Supposed to be able to purchase items until the store closed , yet I was told their register doesn’t work as I see the cashier ringing someone else up. I just don’t like liars and I definitely felt lied to. This is why I shop at Petsmart in Towson.

  I got off work late this evening and stopped at this Petco only because I wouldn’t make it to my usual PetSmart, which has better prices and customer service, before closing. While grabbing the one item I came in for, I was approached by an employee who told me they couldn’t ring me up due to register issues. However, she then checked out the customer ahead of me and immediately closed the register, leaving me unable to make my purchase. As a result, my three cats went without food for the evening, which was extremely disappointing. Needless to say, I won’t be back. If I could give zero stars I would.

  The staff are extremely helpful. I absolutely adore Betsy and Jax loves her, too. He has been coming out of his shell in leaps and bounds.
