I really hope someone sees this message. This Banfield in Greenbelt has the most unprofessional service I've ever seen. I've tried to get my dog checked for the last four months, and they always cancel the appointment. It's not fair; you pay for a service and you expect to be seen if you make an appointment. I made an appointment through the app to take my dog in because he has an upset stomach, and they canceled it 10 minutes before... I'm going to take my dog off this insurance because of you. Besides being expensive, you don't offer good service, and above all, you don't seem to like working, especially at this Greenbelt location. And you always try to sell me products I don't need. I hope a manager sees this, and if they really care about animal welfare, they'll act differently. Thank you.

Booked a same day in room appointment for my cat due to an emergency at this location because it is closest to me and I was reminded almost instantly why I usually go out of way to a much further location.
They offer in room appointments but have none of the rooms available to facilitate that. Seems like a simple fix to remove that option from the website. I have a very anxious cat and he’s much calmer with me in the room which is why I chose that option and they never even addressed it. Just took him to the back after we waited almost 30 minutes in the waiting area where so much dog pee just sits on the floor you can barely breathe. They had wet floor signs over multiple pee puddles that were nearly dry and it was only morning? Everyone was just sitting around breathing it in and God only knows how long it was there. There’s also dried up pee underneath the shelves that hold pet food products and supplies. Please clean up.
Furthermore they kept my cat for hours just to refer me to a nearby ER which appears to be their norm when it comes to animals they’re not equipped to care for instead of just telling you that up front without billing you for nothing.
I had to call 3 times to get an update on my cats treatment plan just to be sent elsewhere and I needed a shower after I left, it smelled so badly of urine in that store. Will never be back under any circumstances. Don’t bring your pet here.

Went to my closest Banfield near me. When I went in to get a wellness plan, the lady asked for $400 upfront for “blood testing” and if the “blood test” came out bad, he wouldn't be allowed to get the wellness plan. I was OK with paying this amount and booked an appointment. The receptionist was rolling her eyes the whole time and being short and dismissive. I told her the reason we were there (to renew his tick and fleas treatment) and she stared, rolled her eyes again and said, “We can't make an appointment, you can only make an appointment for vaccinations” which is not true, apparently. I said, “OK” as she ignored me and went back to her computer, leaving standing there confused. At this point, I'm done and don't even want to buy the wellness plan. Thankfully, my sister (the one who recommended this wellness plan) convinced me to go to Kensington and when they were absolutely perfect, she did a great job explaining everything to me. ALSO, remember the $400 “blood testing” was completely unnecessary. They gave him two shots, and a blood work. Which came out to about ≈$170. What I found weird was that this Banfield didn’t ask for any other vaccination info except for his rabies vaccine apposed to Kensington. Which kindly let us know he wasn't up-to-date with a certain vaccine.
