Friendly, well organized, knowledgeable and caring staff! Took the time to go over every detail of what to expect and answering all my questions regarding my lil man's upcoming surgery. Got us on the books the next day. They took good care of my little man.

Our dog went in for a biopsy last week. We were told if we haven't heard from them in a week to call them and check in. So we did, and we were told that the doctor who performed the biopsy was not in that day and that they would send an email to her to have her reach out. We still hadn't heard anything the next day so we called again, after being on hold for over 20min, we were told that the doctor wouldn't be in for another 3 weeks. No notes left, no options for us and no answers after being told that it "could be Osteosarcoma". We spent over $1000 on tests/xrays, and feel like we have been left in the wind.

This is our first time at this Banfeild location, and we usually visit the one in Ellicott City, where we’ve never encountered any issues. However, the staff here seem completely unfamiliar with dogs and lack any concern for animal welfare. When the doctor and nurse entered the room, they completely disregarded our dog and attempted to talk over his barking. They even wanted to muzzle him so they could hear his lungs, which is unusual for him since he’s never had to be muzzled before and has never had any issues at our previous Banfeild. The reason for this behavior seems to be that they didn’t greet our dog or come to his level to introduce themselves when they entered the room. It’s as if they’ve never met a dog in their lives. Thankfully, they didn’t muzzle him when we politely asked them to introduce themselves. Instead, they man-handled him and held him extremely tightly so the doctor could listen to his lungs, which made us and our dog extremely uncomfortable. It was especially upsetting when she tightened her grip around his neck. They never even petted our dog once until they held him, which isn’t really petting. It’s clear that they lack the knowledge and experience to treat animals properly. They should have known to greet our dog before anything. They don’t treat our pet as if it were their own and don’t make any effort to make him comfortable. Furthermore, they seem to view talking to customers and dealing with animals as a chore. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this Banfeild location.
