They are very unprofessional and rude to customers. Looks like they are there to do trial On medicines. They said this didn’t work out so try this one to my puppy.

Our experience with Banfield during our dog’s final days was heartbreaking and deeply frustrating. They ran multiple tests that felt unnecessary, downplayed how seriously ill he was, and continued prescribing medication and recommending more testing instead of being honest about his condition. After an ultrasound and IV drip, he was actually sicker than when we dropped him off. When we sought a second opinion from another vet, we were told it was time to say goodbye. That honesty and compassion was something we never received from Banfield, who continued to push treatments and tests rather than preparing us for the reality of his condition. After we had to put our beloved pup to sleep, dealing with Banfield’s corporate side made an already devastating loss even worse. I called to cancel the pet wellness plan and was told his account could be marked “deceased,” yet my payments would continue unless I paid a $593 lump sum or kept paying monthly for the rest of the year (it is February). There was no compassion or flexibility offered. My live chat experience with a representative named Ramon was especially upsetting. He showed zero empathy, framed the lump sum as a “courtesy,” and abruptly ended the chat before I could even respond or document the conversation. This has been a nightmare experience at the worst possible time. Losing a pet is painful enough without being treated like this. I would strongly caution others to seek a second opinion and be very careful when dealing with Banfield’s care and billing practices.

$90 for a fecal exam is crazy and the dr didn’t help answer my questions much. Not going back.

I moved here from out of state and was looking for a new provider. They had a special saying the first visit was free. I arrived 10 min (on the dot) late so 3:40 at the front desk when my appt was at 330. (yes, I know that is my fault no matter the reason.) I was then told I would need to reschedule. I said forget it. No where in the text they sent or the email confirmation of the appointment did I get told if I was 10 min late I would need to reschedule. If this is the case or policy then it would be nice to know so I didn’t take time off work, take the time to drive 15 min there and 15 min back with my dog for nothing. Plus my thought was this is a general check up - I’ve shown up often early to appts and almost never get taken back or seen right at the exact appt time so I don’t get the need to reschedule when I was there … wouldn’t they have already had the time carved out to see my dog in the first place?! Seems like someone just didn’t want to work truth be told.
