  I visited Petco in Gambrills on April 24 around 12:00 p.m. to look into getting a hamster for my daughter. She was really excited and politely asked if she could hold or pet one before making a decision. We asked Alex on the floor who was standing right next to us, by the hamsters. Unfortunately, Alex told us no and said no one was available to assist—despite the store being empty at the time. This interaction was dismissive and unfriendly, especially toward a child who was genuinely interested and excited. The way this was handled reflects a lack of basic customer service. I hope Alex can work on being more welcoming and helpful.

  Haley was the best, she was very nice and allowed us to interact with the animals and really gave us the best Petco experience!

  Terrible experience. Trinity was our cashier. She was texting on her phone the ENTORE time, when it came time for the receipt she said "you want a receipt?" Still texting on her phone laid next to the POS machine. I said "yes please" she need sighed and the receipt printed, and she just held it in the air in my direction till I took it. HORRIBLE location. I asked someone if they had FROOMS dog food. and they just stared at me, said they would check snd never saw them again. Do NOT go here ..

  The cashier had o customer service etiquette. She caught up on her phone and not welcoming at all.

  Love our Petco. Employees really care and are knowledgeable of animals. Nicest people and always fun to chit chat and get weekly pick up feeders etc. Kudos to Shenelle, Alix, Carla, Jordan, Emily and Matt.
