The kindness of these humans is immeasurable. We lost our cat and the only bright spot was the care and compassion we were shown as she passed away. Highly recommend.

I am late on writing this review, but in Feb 2026 I took my dog for a consult with Dr. "Ben" (Benoit) on a suspected nasal tumor. He recommended a MRI as the most conclusive, but gave all the other options as well so it wasn't just the most expensive. I opted for the MRI, and sadly, we found an advanced tumor in my dog's nasal passage that had already broken through to his brain. Dr. Ben gave me a menu of options and different outcomes we may get. He never made me feel pressured or judged, and was empathetic and compassionate. It's clear he's also incredibly knowlegable of the most recent treatments available. I understand there are always complaints about expensive care at Vet ERs/Referrals or "are they owned by PE?" questions, but an MRI and radiology expertise anywhere is expensive, so that's something to just accept. VRA was worth the expense for me because I wasn't treated like an open wallet or profit line; I was even given a military discount. I am very grateful for their entire staff for getting us in quickly and the humane treatment to owners and their pet family. Thank you Dr. Ben for letting me know how much time I had left to cherish my dog. I'm forever grateful for your kind and calming presence.

Seen three different specialists there. Dr. Conway and Dr. Ganjei are great. Dr. Aufox is leaving the practice soon and that is probably for the better as I have never met anyone so obviously disinterested or with poor bedside manner. Seen her twice now and she has a flat disposition and is not very informative. I have to ask her for the next steps in care. Very obvious she does not want to be there. Front desk staff are fine. Usually no one greets you so you have to walk up and figure out who's free to help. Someone earlier here posted a review about front desk making you feel like you're a bother and that's not an exaggeration. One time when I picked up my dog after being told he was ready, it took an hour for them to bring him out. I had twice come up to the same front desk member and was told he'd be right out. On the third time, it turns out she did not even page the right team which is why it took so long. She laughed at her mistake and offered no apology. It takes 1 hour just to drive to the clinic. Some efficiency and care would be appreciated especially with how expensive visits are.

Joyce brought Jazzy (Jazmine) in for a laparoscopic splenectomy as referred by our treating veterinarian Old Mill in Leesburg. Joyce speaking: being new to the area I asked about Dr Ganjei on the Leesburgology facebook group. Handsdown the response was an overwhelming frenzied unequivocal go for it. I mean this doctor has a following that I have rarely seen! He is an internet sensation! One person even said that she would want to have this doctor do surgery on her or her children should it be necessary! When I called my Florida veterinarian he said in no uncertain terms laparoscopic surgery if possible is the way to go. My mother had a very fast growing tumor removed from her lungs laparoscopically about 10 years ago now. They removed it in between her ribs. She called me after it was finished. Then went home! Thankfully that cancer was so aggressive it killed itself and was dead when removed. But the non-invasive nature of this kind of surgery is the way to go whether human or animal. So I knew that laparoscopic was the way to go I was just really concerned about an unknown surgeon. I am here to report: not only was Dr Ganjei wonderful with Jazzy he was equally wonderful with me. I officially join the group of people who would prefer to have him do surgery on ourselves!! Jazzy was healed up in two weeks and ready to do stairs. I mean she was busting out of her seams a week after the surgery but I forced her to do what the doctor said. No activity. Surgical suit instead of the Elizabethan cone of shame (highly recommend getting two in case one gets soiled to ask me how I know LOL). Thankfully the preliminary report from the pathology is a benign growth we are waiting on the final report with a few lingering questions. 🙏 And so I can without reservation recommend this hospital for any needs you or your animals may have. I drove one and one half hours each way from my home. I would go double the distance for them. Without hesitation I love Dr G. And all of the assistants behind the desk, in the exam rooms, and in the operating room. I'm 63 years old and I have had animals in my entire life. I'm so glad I found this clinic. ♥️♥️

The one star review is the lowest I could give. I suggest avoiding this establishment if possible. This animal hospital claims expertise but in my case their performance was lacking. My wife and I brought in a dog we were caring for and who had suddenly become paralyzed in his hind quarters. While waiting, he became agitated and repeatedly flailed his front legs – in evident pain -- which made him difficult to restrain. Because of this, my wife on two occasions informed the receptionist that he was in distress and required immediate attention, but with no immediate result. Eventually a tech appeared. Despite the fact that this establishment was on notice that the dog was agitated and in pain, he made no effort to assess this or relieve the dog’s condition. Most significantly, the tech did not apply an anti-bite collar, take steps to transport him to an examination area in a safe manner or take any other reasonable, minimal precautions for handling an agitated dog in pain. Instead, the tech simply instructed me to carry the dog to the examination area. This resulted in what was surely predictable to them: The dog lashed out in pain and bit me in the chin, requiring stitches. Only then did the tech – evidently not wanting to be bitten himself – order up the readily available anti-bite collar and a stretcher. Given their supposed expertise, the bite on that occasion could have been avoided by them exercising a minimal standard of care, which they did not, and they have refused to own up to it.
