- MSM. S.6 days ago1.0Wouldn’t refill the prescription for my dog’s skin rash without scheduling another visit. I visited less than 6 months prior for the same rash and it reappeared, so all I needed was more of the same medication. But they just want your money so they declined the refill it unless I came in and paid for another visit.

The exact same rash appeared 6 months later so I found the same prescription online for $15 at Chewy.com and sent it to Banefield for approval. They denied it saying I needed another visit, even though it’s the exact same rash and same prescription. I’ll never go back.
- YWYo WussupFeb 7, 20262.0I’m not sure if it’s just my own observation but I’ve felt like the front desk staff comes across with a little but of an attitude or a lack of warmth. I returned a call and whoever I was speaking to asked “Didn’t you listen to the voicemail?” I said yes and repeated the voice message and confirmed that I was asked to call back. I’m not sure if it’s just me or not, but I’ve felt like I’ve bothered the front desk every time I leave there. I work in customer service and I know there are indeed times where we would encounter people with attitudes and entitlement; I try to be a great customer wherever I go, but here I feel a little guilty trying to do a small talk or even smile at them. There’s no reception to it. I might use a different location for a while.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
