  Came in since I needed orijen food, only sold in a brick and mortar at Petco. Was pleasantly surprised when I walked into a clean store where every employee I passed shared pleasantries with me and asked if I needed assistance. While I was checking out the cashier also asked about my pet. Was probably my best experience I've ever had at Petco

  This was my first time going to the Petco in Columbia. It was not a bad experience overall, but there were a few things that stood out. I ordered dog food online for pickup and never received a confirmation email, even after waiting for a while. Because of that, I went to the store to check on the order. When I got there, I spent some time looking around at the animals. Some of them did not seem very active or engaged. One of the birds was by itself and seemed withdrawn compared to the others, and the hamsters looked crowded and did not appear to have much to interact with. As an animal lover, that was disappointing to see. When I went to the register, there was only one employee helping several customers, so the line moved a bit slowly. The staff member was polite when I spoke to her, and when I asked about one of the hamsters, she responded and said it was likely just resting. When I asked about my order, I found out it was already ready even though I had not received any notification. I was able to pick it up without any issue, but I ended up receiving the email saying it was ready after I had already left. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

  Usually pretty fast with curbside delivery. Polite. I'll drive out of my way for the convenience they provide.

  Staff are always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgable and take the time to answer questions and provide pertinent information.

  Pretty good, however many items do not have prices and I have to find an associate to give me a price.
